Chitra Raghavan is an accomplished Indian author whose literary work spans both children’s fiction and contemporary English short stories. She has written fourteen books in the beloved Adventures of Ikata and Tikata children’s series, earning recognition for her gentle storytelling, imaginative landscapes, and moral clarity. Her contribution to children’s literature was honoured when the Sahitya Akademi invited her to deliver a lecture on the subject at their Literary Festival in March 2024.
