Howrah Bridge

Juthika does not want to direct a film, in which her parents are not acting; Bibek hates the thought of living in Calcutta; a forty-five-year-old woman, is standing on the Howrah Bridge and contemplating suicide; Gargi is deeply upset, because her mother is acting strangely with her father; and little Bobby falls ill, because his parents are at war with each other. Each protagonist, of every short story, is at the crossroads of their lives. They can either overcome the crisis that they’re faced with, or allow themselves to fall prey to the pessimism that is threatening to engulf them. In any case, they must find some meaning to life and existence.
