In the village of Vatura the traditional practices of ill-treating the widows is still rife. They are still subjected to lives without luxuries. Most of them cannot wear colorful cloths, cannot participate in prayers and weddings and are often looked down upon. The ailing conditions give birth to a courageous young widow who tries to defy the practices and lands herself in a battle against a ruthless group of antagonists who make her life hell. Her late husband prepared her how to fight spiritually and physically with the merciless and cruel society. Attempts are made to exploit, humiliate and kill her.
